Project Outline

During a workshop in my 3rd year of university, we were tasked to translate smells with personal connections into visual outcomes. These outcomes where restricted to square format. Colour, pattern, page use and texture are just a few things I considered when visualising my chosen scent, In Motion cologne by Hugo Boss.
My process of creating visuals from the scent produced from the cologne was to investigate and photograph the movement ink in water.

Using the images created from the kinetic ink photoshoot, I branded the cologne in the form of a product brochure designed in response to the products smell, colours, and overall appearance.
